Tara Adams, played by Debbie Ryan, star of Jessie and The Suite Life on Deck, is your ordinary shy junior trying to navigate her way through the clique-infested highs and lows of high school. What most of her classmates don’t know is that Tara has a secret identity, she is actually “Radio Rebel”, the most popular radio DJ in Seattle.

Tara’s school is in the middle of a clique crisis and Radio Rebel tries to be a voice to all kids, popular and unpopular alike and questions the status quo, to the chagrin of her schools administration. Now, with the principal hot on the trail of Radio Rebel’s true identity, and mean girl Stacy pursing Tara’s crush, Gavin, Tara must decide between keeping her identity a secret or being true to herself and potentially lose everything.

On June 19th, Image Entertainment releases the Disney Channel Original Movie RADIO REBEL on DVD! Based on the book Shrinking Violet by Danielle Joseph, the story follows Tara Adams (Debby Ryan: “Jessie,” Sixteen Wishes), an ordinary high school junior with an extraordinary secret—she’s Radio Rebel, the most popular radio DJ in Seattle! Bonus material includes 5 new featurettes including Debby Ryan’s hot music video for “We Got the Beat!”
