According to the Disney Food Blog, some of the details are in about the new “Tapaz” restaurant that is “planned” for waterside at Morocco that Anonymouse wrote about last week. I use quotes on planned as it has still not been officially announced by Disney, but regardless here is the bread and butter for you.
“Tapaz” is planning on serving tapas, small plates of food or appetizers, that are very popular in places such as Spain, Morocco and has been growing in popularity in the US. The restaurant is scheduled to join Tangerine Cafe and Marrakesh at Morocco by adding a 120 outdoor terrace seats and 60 indoor seats on the waterfront side. This arrangement will provide incredible views for Illuminations and all of World Showcase.
The new restaurant, “Tapaz” will be part of a complex that would also hold several shops that will carry items that allow guests to recreate these wonderful meals at home, such as Olive Oil.
There will also be a walk up window that will serve beverages, cocktails, wines and pastries that will replace the current Morocco kiosk that serves pastries.
